First Trailer for Bradley Cooper's Directorial Debut, 'A Star Is Born', Released Today

The first official trailer for A Star Is Born, the directorial debut of Bradley Cooper, premiered today. The long-awaited film stars Cooper as Jackson Maine, a country superstar who discovers an up-and-coming struggling vocalist named Ally (played by Lady Gaga), and their journey as they fall in love and experience career highs and lows along the way.

While the film showcases musical performances from both Cooper and Gaga, the film's original soundtrack was pulled together by music industry superstars like Mark Ronson (who co-wrote one of the film's songs, "The Shallow", with the two co-stars), Lukas Nelson, Dave Cobb and Jason Isbell.

A Star Is Born will be released on October 5th, 2018.
