The Bay Area’s very own I The Mighty have seriously been taking the world by storm since the release of their 2013 debut album, Satori. They haven’t stopped moving, managing to consistently release great song after great song. “Cave In” is the next entry in their streak of exemplary music, a brand new single that was just released along with a stunning new music video.

The video intercuts shots of the band performing the song with moments where the band are donned in all white, where they slowly but surely seem to be losing their minds. In regards to the song meaning, vocalist Brent Walsh stated the following:

"'Cave In' is a song that people close to me have been pushing me to write for the better portion of my career. I think I've put it off because it can be easier to bury things than to face them, but I know that the song's content is something that a vast amount of people can relate to. Experiencing substance abuse among close family, especially as a child, is something that I and many others will carry with them for life. My hope is that 'Cave In' can be as cathartic for people to listen to and sing along to, as it was for me to write."

Check out the video in its entirety below, and make sure you catch the band on their upcoming tour with Polyphia this spring. The band will be hitting the Bay Area on April 25th (Berkeley, CA at Cornerstone) and April 26th (Santa Cruz, CA at The Catalyst), and they’ll return to play the Vans Warped Tour 25th Anniversary show taking place in the Bay Area on July 20th-21st.
