Woe, Is Me Reunite; Announce First Comeback Show in Texas

Metalcore act Woe, Is Me have announced their reunion, and will be performing their first show in nearly a decade this October in Dallas, TX. The band are set to perform at the “Monster Mosh” event at Gilley’s, along with Close Your Eyes. The full lineup for “Monster Mosh” is set to be announced on August 29th, and tickets are now available here.

Woe, Is Me is comprised of guitarist Kevin Hanson, clean vocalist Hance Alligood, screaming vocalist Michael Bohn, guitarist Andrew Paiano, bassist Cory Ferris, keyboardist Ben Ferris, and drummer Austin Thornton.

The band first emerged with the release of their Rise Records debut Number[s], which previously featured vocalist Tyler Carter on clean vocal duties. Carter left the band in 2011 before being replaced by Alligood. After a period of time, the band incurred several significant lineup changes, with screaming vocalist Doriano Magliano replacing Bohn, keyboardist Ferris stepping down entirely, and Brian Medley replacing Cory Ferris on bass. This lineup was featured on the band’s sophomore album, Genesi[s], released in 2012 via Rise Records. Woe, Is Me’s final release prior to the break up was the American Dream EP, featuring the amended lineup along with the addition of drummer David Angle.

There is currently no word on any other upcoming tour dates or production of new music, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated if any more information comes to light. In the mean time, you can check out all three of the band’s prior releases at the links below.
