Cavalera Announce 'Morbid Devastation' Tour

Cavalera, the heavy metal project comprised of Max and Iggor Cavalera, has announced that they will be hitting the road this fall for an extensive U.S. tour dubbed the ‘Morbid Devastation’ tour. The tour is slated to kick off on August 29th in Albuquerque, NM and will wrap up on October 18th in Los Angeles, CA. Two Northern California stops are planned for October 14th in Sacramento, CA, and October 15th in San Francisco, CA. Exhumed and Incite will support.

The tour is in support of the aggressive new re-recordings of two iconic Cavalera albums, Morbid Visions and Beastial Devastation. Both albums were re-recorded at The Platinum Underground, produced by Max and Iggor, engineered by John Aquilino, and mixed/mastered by Arthur Rizk. The artwork was created for both albums by Eliran Kantor.

In a press release announcing the tour and the albums, Max Cavalera stated the following:

”As we get harder year after year, sometimes you’ve got to go back to where it all started! We re-recorded Bestial Devastation and Morbid Visions with the amazing sound of NOW, but with its raw and timeless spirit. The artwork reflects the times we’re living in right now…. Apocalyptic as hell! We also have two new tracks with riffs from those days, remembered by heart.”
